Join Us for Maine Craft Weekend

Celebrate Maine Craft Weekend at Maine Artisans Collective

Join us at Maine Artisans Collective in Lincolnville Beach on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, as we celebrate Maine Craft Weekend with two days of creativity, craftsmanship, and opportunities to meet some of the talented artisans and authors whose work helps make our shop unique and special.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can watch artisans at work, ask questions about their processes, and meet local makers and authors. Saturday’s demonstrations include Chris McLarty of Meridadi, sharing polymer clay techniques from 11 AM–1 PM, and Pam Barton of Eye of the Whale, demonstrating her detailed fine ink artwork from 3–5 PM. You’ll also have opportunities to meet Dawn Staples-Knox of Pleasant Valley Glass Art and Ann Kennedy of Phann’s Huegy Hats.

On Sunday, Anne Smith of Ori-Anne Designs will demonstrate the fascinating process of flame painting copper from 12–2 PM, followed by Sonja & Sean Twombly of Lally Broch Farm Sanctuary, who will share a soap-making demonstration from 3–5 PM. Meet Linda Learnard, creator of wool tapestry work, and Duane & Connie Butler of Butler’s Woodworking.

Local authors will also be joining us for meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the weekend, making this a wonderful chance to talk directly with them and maybe get your copy of their book signed!

And while you’re here, sample local Scone Goddess scones with jam. Enjoy a cup of cider while you shop our collection of locally handmade art, gifts, home goods, books, jewelry, fiber arts, pottery, woodworking, and more. Bring one of the tickets from our event poster—or scan the QR code for a digital ticket—and receive a free artisan-made gift with purchase while supplies last.
